The arrival of Roxy - Danti’s Foxy Lady, our first much
loved Akita who became the family’s pet after much
research into the breed, led to the establishment of the
Rokushii kennels.
Sarah Crisford now lives with her 3 children, 7 magnificent Akitas
and 1 Alaskan Malamute. On the Rokushii
Akita site you can read about how we first fell in love
with the breed, have a look at photos of all of our
dogs, find out all out the Akita Breed and what owning
one entails.
You can follow the successful show careers of our
wonderful dogs and follow our breeding lines. We
will also list current Akita puppies for sale and
provide information relating to planned future matings.
A Brief History
2003 Roxy - Danti’s Foxy Lady - the beginning .......
2005 Misty - Jedisty U Take My Breath Away shown lightly
before taking time out to raise her litter of puppies.
2007 Misty - Jedisty U Take My Breath Away X Mikey -
Nosferatu The Heat is on at Danti produced a beautiful
litter of 11 puppies - bitches and dogs including Genna
- Rokushii's Snow on a Mountain.
2008 A wonderful time for Rokushii Akitas as our home
bred star Genna - Rokushii Snow on a Mountain - at the
tender age of 8 months placed 2nd Akita Open and took
Reserve Best of Breed, Best Puppy, Judges Special Best
Opposite Sex, and Judges Special Best Puppy.
This was a wonderful start of Genna's show career, Since
then she has placed 1st and 2nd at every show she has
attended. We look forward to the future showing our
rising star.
2009 Shasta - Nosferatu A Touch of Frost and Suki -
Stecal's Automic Fusion at Rokushii were introduced into
our family. We have high hopes for both these beautiful
dogs and look forward to campaigning with them.
Izzy - Seijitsu Noth'n Sweet Abou' Me was also
introduced towards the end of the year and joins the
campaign team.
2010 Lewis - Danti's Pole Position - litter brother to
Danti Down Under at Goodomen, Australian Champion joined us. The
opportunity for him to join our kennel was just to good
to miss. He is a stunning example of the Akita breed and
already has gained success at Southern Counties Dog Show
gaining a 1st. We know he will continue to be
successful and look forward to including him in our
planned future matings
2010 Genna - Rokushii Snow on a Mountain X Shasta
Nosferatu A Touch of Frost.
8 wonderful puppies - 6 bitches and 2 dogs born 10th
June 2010.
2010 Izzy - Seijitsu Noth'n Sweet Abou' Me X Seth - CH. Danti I'm All That - planned mating of these two
stunning Akitas. We are delighted that Danti Akitas have
agreed to us using Seth at stud with Izzy. Their
puppy dog was born on 24th August - he is really stunning.
We are looking forward to the continuing campaigning of
our wonderful dogs at forthcoming Open and Championship
Shows.
